I’m not pretending to be a music buff or anything, but I am kinda obsessed with Slick Rick. And if you like old school rap at all, you should definitely check him out. According to wikipedia (nerd alert), “he has been called “hip hop’s greatest storyteller” and “his music has been frequently sampled and interpolated by other artists such as TLC, Black Star, The Notorious B.I.G. and Snoop Dogg.” I just discovered him recently, and turns out he was a pretty big deal in the early days of rap. And he wears loads of wicked jewelry. Double awesome.
